The story
West Sicily Gate srl, founded in 2021 through the synergy between Costa Crociere and MSC Cruises, has established itself as the concessionaire of the Port System Authority of the Western Sicilian Sea. The company is responsible for managing cruise traffic in the terminals of Western Sicily, including Palermo, Porto Empedocle, Termini Imerese and Trapani, handling all related operations. Operations began in 2022, coinciding with the inauguration of the new cruise terminal in Palermo. To date, the company has focused its efforts on the management of the Palermo, Trapani, and Porto Empedocle terminals.
